Call to Worship

Have someone read aloud:

Ephesians 5:15-17 (NKJV)

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is

Prayer

Almighty God, we bless Your holy Name. We worship and adore You for You alone are perfect. Righteous and good are You in every way. We exalt and adore You in the beauty of Your holiness. May You be magnified and praised in all the earth for You alone deserve all glory and honor forever. May all creatures bring You glory. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven both now and forevermore. Amen.

Scripture Reading

Read aloud (together if applicable).

R-4 GOD’S MERCY 上帝的憐憫

Psalm 136:1-12, 23-26 (NKJV)

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!

For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!

For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!

For His mercy endures forever:

To Him who alone does great wonders,

For His mercy endures forever;

To Him who by wisdom made the heavens,

For His mercy endures forever;

To Him who laid out the earth above the waters,

For His mercy endures forever;

To Him who made great lights,

For His mercy endures forever—

The sun to rule by day,

For His mercy endures forever;

The moon and stars to rule by night,

For His mercy endures forever.

To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn,

For His mercy endures forever;

And brought out Israel from among them,

For His mercy endures forever;

With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm,

For His mercy endures forever;

Who remembered us in our lowly state,

For His mercy endures forever;

And rescued us from our enemies,

For His mercy endures forever;

Who gives food to all flesh,

For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven!

For His mercy endures forever.

Song of Response

Worship Through Prayer

  1. Lord, it matters to You as my Maker how I live my life. Created in Your image, my life is to reflect Your glory in every way. Damaged by sin, yet, I had been redeemed and made new by You through Christ. Help me live a life that reflects Your beauty. Let me live with godly wisdom and shun the evil and foolish ways of this world. Keep me holy for Your Name's sake.

  2. Lord, as a witness for You, help me be true inside and out. Let me be a godly witness wherever I am, be it at home where I am most at ease or out in the public where I conduct my day-to-day work. Let me be true in every way that no hypocrisy be found in me. Keep me humble, walking in the path of righteousness for Your Name's sake.

  3. Lord, all that I am and all that I have belong to You. I am a steward whom You, as my Master, expect to conduct all matters of my life the way You want. One day, I will have to give an account of all that I have done in this life. Help me to be ready to face You any day You call me to give an account of all that I have done. Keep me faithful and good as Your steward for Your Name's sake.
